Adoption Fairs
We hold adoption fairs on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Humane Society Adoption Center in Mooresville. The center is located at Highway 150 & Robinson Road. Dogs & cats are available. You can view our list of available animals at Petfinder.com.

This is hard for me to say as big of an animal lover as i am, but, i need to re-home my dog..My living situation is not good right now & i can no longer watch him throughout the day..Eli, is a great dog with multiple personalities that just needs as good of a home as any other dog..he is house trained, had all of his shots, & also nuteured(sp?) He has somewhat of a deep bark but is completely harmless.. He needs a big back yard to run in & he loves to chase bugs.. If i could have it the way i wanted i would keep him..but it never works like that..i feel like i cant even live my life because every second of my day revolves around him, only because, him & my mothers dog do not get along.. they are both males & very dominant & protective.. I cry just about every day & say to myself i can not take him anywhere that i know he will get put to sleep or not treated right..i rescued him as a pup & he was abused before i got ahold of him..he had mange, worms & was just scared of anyone hitting him..but i assured him that i would not let him go through that again..i believe animals have just as much feelings & emotions as humans.. He is a huge dog with a huge heart that could be a man or womans bestfriend, i know he's mine..i would do anything to be able to keep him but since i can't i am trying to my hardest & asking people so kindling to please help me re-home him because of the circumstances i am in..if anyone is able to help me or know anyone who can PLEASE give me a call..i have tried everything.. please please please..My name is kayla Neal.. 704-664-7551
